2^nd Annual Dock Decorating Day – A Lakeside Celebration of Neighbours

Join cottagers across Peninsula Lake, Mary Lake, Fairy Lake, and Lake Vernon for a coordinated Dock Decorating Contest as part of our Four Lakes Canada Day celebrations.  This year, we’re celebrating Canada Day as our primary focus, while also welcoming our American neighbours marking the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence Day, along with all who wish to share their heritage and pride.  Decorate your dock, snap a photo, and submit your entry (penlakecommunity@gmail.com) to be part of a two-stage judging process - first within your lake, and then in a Grand Finale across all four lakes.  Whether you’re decorating or simply enjoying the view, spend some time on the water taking in the creativity and community spirit around the lake.  With hundreds of cottaging families participating, this is shaping up to be one of the most vibrant and connected celebrations of the summer.  For more information or to participate, please contact kathleentiede@rogers.com.
