Plant a Tree for Posterity

The PLA has introduced an exciting new fundraising program to enhance the PLA property - the McCann Lamon Meadow. 2019 was our inaugural year in which we planted 2 red oaks, 1 maple, 1 white pine and 1 willow each with a commemorative plaque. We thank the friends and families for supporting the PLA with the purchase of additional red oaks, maples and willows in each of the years since then..

You too can plant a 7 to 10 foot tree on the PLA’s McCann Lamon Meadow, with a plaque, hand made in Huntsville, displaying your family name or commemorating a special event or memorializing a loved one. Your tree with its plaque will be there for many years to come.

2023 Tree Auction:

Based on poplar demand, er…we mean popular demand, the PLA will once again be planning to auction 5 more trees in the Spring of 2023. Please plan to check back in May 2023 for more details and to access the online auction to submit a winning bid for your own commemorative tree.
